We’re thrilled to announce that Muirhouse Youth Development Group (MYDG) has been awarded a £5,000 grant from the Scottish Children’s Lottery!
This funding will support MYDG’s Youthful Adventures Summer (YAS) program, a fantastic initiative that offers local children and young people the chance to explore new activities, make new friends, and experience unforgettable trips away from home. Over the summer, MYDG delivered residential trips, each filled with outdoor sports and activities, benefiting 72 young people from the Muirhouse community.
This project not only provides fun and adventure but also focuses on improving health and well-being, alleviating poverty, and fostering strong connections within the community. We’re proud to support MYDG in their mission to create lasting memories and positive impacts in the lives of these young people.
