Morton in the Community

Football That Welcomes Everyone.

We’re delighted to support Morton in the Community with a £4,000 grant award from funding generated through the Scottish Children’s Lottery.

The funding is supporting the launch of free weekly football sessions for children and young people with additional support needs (ASN), creating a safe, supportive and fun environment where every child can enjoy the game.

  • Tailored coaching
  • Sensory-friendly support
  • Parent & carer engagement
  • Confidence, connection, and community

Held at local schools and leisure facilities to remove access barriers, these sessions are designed to promote physical and mental wellbeing, encourage teamwork, and build social skills for up to 40 young people.

With strong partnerships already in place, including Craigmarloch School, Active Schools Inverclyde, and local ASN family networks, this initiative is set to make a lasting impact on children and families across the community.

Huge thanks to Morton in the Community for leading this fantastic work and to the players of the Scottish Children’s Lottery for making support like this possible.
