About Àban Outdoor:
Àban Outdoor is dedicated to making the outdoors accessible to children in Inverness, particularly those living in poverty. By offering regular outdoor activities, Àban improves lives through healthy adventures that are local, affordable, and fun.
How the Grant Will Help:
The funding will support Àban’s Outdoor Youth Clubs from May 2024 to May 2025, specifically the Girls’ Bike Club and Mountaineering Club. These clubs provide safe spaces for young people to enjoy biking, hiking, and climbing, all while learning valuable skills and gaining confidence. All equipment and transport are provided, ensuring accessibility for everyone.
