Supporting the Next Generation of Leaders with Diversity Bridge

We were proud to visit Diversity Bridge SCIO, a new but powerful voice for inclusion and opportunity in Scotland. Established just last year, Diversity Bridge is already making a real difference by supporting young people from ethnic minority and refugee backgrounds, helping them build confidence, skills, and a pathway to brighter futures.

Thanks to a £1,000 grant from the Bright Futures Fund (made possible by players of the Scottish Children’s Lottery and supported by our partners at The Scotto and Jackpot Community Trust), Diversity Bridge launched its Youth Leadership Development Programme, an inspiring series of workshops, mentorships, and community projects for vulnerable young people aged 14–18.

Through leadership training, public speaking, and real-world community engagement, this programme will empower young people to step up, speak out, and shape the future they want to see.

A huge thank you to all of our lottery players, without you, this vital work simply wouldn’t be possible. Your support is helping young people across Scotland find their voice and their path.
