Friends of Craigtoun Park

Friends of Craigtoun Park was formed 10 years ago with the aim of securing the future of Craigtoun Country Park as an amenity for the people of St Andrews, Fife and visitors to the area.

The charity received a grant award of £5,000 to contribute to the installation of a wheelchair swing in their play area. The grant was made possible through the proceeds of the Scottish Children’s Lottery.

The charity strives to have the community interact across all age groups, ethnicities and categories and being a park, one of their main beneficiaries are children.

Craigtoun Park play area currently has a range of facilities inclusive of conventional play equipment, adjacent open spaces, mini tricycles, putting area and seasonal bouncy castles in the midst of other features, engaging all who come to the park.
