Empowering Families, Changing Lives
We’re thrilled to award £4,000 to Juniors Play Cafe Hamilton (Families Like Us), a charity dedicated to supporting families in need by providing a welcoming space, practical help, and dignity-driven support to overcome poverty and isolation.
This funding will support their Impact Academy, an innovative employment programme for young people facing barriers to work. Through this initiative, participants will gain:
- Confidence and self-esteem building workshops
- Opportunities to create support networks and share experiences
- Practical work placements in sales, customer service, and teamwork with local businesses
- Tailored training sessions led by experienced professionals
By addressing emotional, social, and professional challenges, Impact Academy empowers young people to break down barriers, build essential skills, and thrive in their personal and professional lives.
