Scottish Children’s Lottery gives players several ways to take part in prize draws throughout the year, with different prize opportunities available through our main Monday and Thursday draws, monthly subscriber draw and annual subscriber draw.

Scottish Children’s Lottery helps raise funds for The Jackpot Community Trust, supporting projects that make a positive difference to children, young people and families across Scotland.
Funding is awarded to registered Scottish charities working in areas such as health, wellbeing, education, community support and brighter futures.

Since launch, the Scottish Children’s Lottery players have raised over £9.3 million for good causes. Charities supporting children in Scotland can apply for grants via our supporting charity website.
The Jackpot Community Trust is dedicated to supporting initiatives that make a measurable, positive difference in our communities. Our Board of Trustees meets quarterly to review applications and award grants to eligible projects. Because our funding relies directly on ticket sales from the Scottish Children’s Lottery, the total amount available for distribution varies throughout the year. Charities can apply for a maximum grant of £15,000.
To be considered for a grant, your organisation and project must meet the following baseline requirements:
Registered Status: Your organisation must be a registered charity in Scotland with an active charity bank account and up-to-date annual accounts.
Geographic Focus: The proposed project must be delivered entirely within Scotland.
Supplementary Impact: Funded projects must operate outside of, or be supplementary to, statutory responsibilities.
Match Funding: We typically provide up to 50% of a project’s total cost. Applicants must demonstrate that they have already secured the remaining funding from another source (exceptions are at the sole discretion of the Trustees).
Measurable Outcomes: You must clearly demonstrate the positive impact your project will have, as all successful applicants are required to submit an end-of-grant impact analysis report.
One-Year Funding Limit: Grants are awarded for a maximum of one year. This policy ensures that recipient charities do not become fully reliant on our donations for their future operational sustainability.
Exclusions: Funding cannot be used retrospectively, to cover deficits, or for the repayment of existing loans.
