We’re proud to award Tailor Ed a £1,000 grant from the Bright Futures Fund, a special fund generated through the Scottish Children’s Lottery and our partners at The Scotto and the Jackpot Community Trust, designed to support organisations improving the lives of children and young people across Scotland.
Tailor Ed Foundation is making a huge difference for over 200 autistic children and their families in Edinburgh and East Lothian, helping them develop essential daily living skills like communication, behaviour, personal care, and emotional regulation.
This funding will go directly towards something small but powerful: sensory toys.
These aren’t just toys, they’re tools that help autistic children learn, cope, and thrive. Whether it’s easing anxiety, building confidence, or supporting communication, each toy is carefully chosen to meet the unique needs of each child during more than 1,200 home visits every year.
From early years support to mental health services and school engagement, the Tailor Ed team works hand-in-hand with families to give every child the best possible start and a brighter future.
